Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Graphic Design, or related field required: in lieu of degree consideration will be given to candidates with post-secondary education and prior directly related work experience. This position requires the employee to obtain and maintain appropriate Bank product knowledge and certification.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in related position is normally required.
General Responsibilities
Assist the marketing department by updating existing material and creating engaging new content that supports brand consistency and awareness, customer services activities, and profitable market penetration.
Essential Duties
- Creating marketing materials that align with companywide marketing plans and regionalized marketing initiatives, performing research on target audiences and analysis to identify new customer engagement opportunities, and keeping abreast of the latest marketing and communication trends.
- Fulfilling various production stages of each marketing campaign and project in coordination with the company's marketing team, designers, copywriters, or other specialists to ensure that marketing content and deliverables are completed on time and meet all the requested requirements.
- Responsible for updating existing material and creating engaging new content based on best practices to boost engagement as well as support positive brand image and strategic priorities, which includes but is not limited to:
- Assist in the implementation of marketing plans and projects
- Research current trends, developments, and perceptions to brainstorm and identify new ways to reach and appeal to stakeholders across all delivery channels
- Produce and enhance strategically appropriate, informative, and engaging brand-focused content and material that includes written and verbal communication, graphic designs (image and video), promotional materials, and advertising copy to fulfill marketing requests, projects, campaigns, and presentations
- Create and post new social media content that aligns with the company's search engine optimization (SEO) strategy and cultivates community engagement
- Manage social media community response and reply to followers in a timely manner
- Affirm that all content is customized based on delivery channels for strategic alignment, brand awareness promotion and interest in the company's community engagement and services provided
- Ensure all marketing content is consistent with branding guidelines
- Help maintain project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely manner
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure they are aware of status updates and any potential issues that may impact the project's outcome
- Coordinate with vendors as well as other departments or personnel as needed to ensure that projects meet organizational goals
- Collaborate with Marketing Projects Coordinator to analyze the success and proforma of social media campaigns
- Gather feedback, monitor, and report on marketing content effectiveness and potential problems, with recommendation on how to improve results
- Proofread and edit marketing materials for accuracy and clarity
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive developments
- Generate ideas for new marketing campaigns
- Identify potential risks and contingency plans in case challenges arise
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
- Communicates with the Director of Strategic Initiatives, marketing team members, other department managers, and other appropriate personnel to integrate goals and activities to efficiently support corporate goals and objectives.

Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
