Summary This position is assigned to MWR Community Recreation Division Custodial. Requirements Conditions of Employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Possession of a valid driver's license to operate assigned government vehicles. The employee must maintain a current driver’s license while in this job. Drug test required. The worker makes repairs and installations from floor level, ground level, and from ladders. Work requires standing, stooping, bending, climbing, crawling, and kneeling for extended periods in uncomfortable positions. Worker may lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds and, occasionally heavier items with assistance. The work will be performed both indoors and outdoors. Exposed to dust and dirt. The worker may be required to perform in bad weather when having to work outdoors. The worker will be exposed to the possibility of cuts, bruises, burns, and broken bones from falling objects or when working on ladders or driving a motor vehicle. A health assessment is required. Qualifications Ability to communicate in English at a level to assure the duties described can be accomplished in a safe and satisfactory manner. Demonstrated skills in successfully operating standard tools Experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
