Summary This position functions as the Supervisory Site Manager (Business Manager) within the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System. This position reports directly to The Business Operations Manager. The position operates as a key member of business operations and acts as The Business Manager in his/her absence. Qualifications SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience: Business operations management experience in a health care setting with responsibility for planning, directing, overseeing/supervising and coordinating all or most of the following administrative functions: budget and fiscal management, personnel management, public relations, systematic internal review and analysis, and process/performance improvement. You will be rated on the following Competencies as part of the assessment questionnaire for this position: Administration and Management Analysis and Problem Solving Communications IMPORTANT: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
