Deere & Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Moline, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 5 years related experience. Required skills: Experience developing RESTful APIs in Java using the Spring Boot framework in addition to implementing unit tests via Junit (5 yrs); Experience developing Applications using Spring, JMS and Hibernate/JPA technologies (5 yrs); Experience developing, deploying, and supporting applications on Cloud Platform (4 yrs); Work on the Agile Operating Model and be well versed in agile methodologies including scrum ceremonies and Test-Driven Development practices (4 yrs); Experience on writing SQL, PLSQL queries (PostgreSQL) (4 yrs). Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 50% remote work permitted.
