Your Role and Responsibilities

Start and End Dates: Summer 2025 (3 months)

As part of the IBM Global Real Estate (GRE) team you’ll engage in a variety of real estate disciplines such as strategy space management workplace design engineering construction leasing acquisitions and more. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with real estate activities during mergers & acquisitions (M&A) deals while contributing to IBM’s global real estate operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with real estate activity during M&A deal integration execution and ongoing implementation.
  • Coordinate administrative hand-offs with other parts of the GRE team.
  • Identify vet and implement process improvements including documentation standards and metrics.
  • Ensure proper authorizations and adherence to business controls.
  • Provide transaction process guidance and support to regional GRE teams.
  • Contribute to cross-deal coordination offer advisory support and participate in “lessons learned” reviews.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Enrolled undergraduate student at an accredited university.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Passion for process improvement and innovation.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Finance or a related field.
