2025 Summer Process Engineering Internship

Program Experience

CSL's Internship Program is a hands-on experience that showcases the daily innovation and operations of a leading biotechnology company. Our environment is collaborative, global, and purpose driven. The summer internship experience will immerse students in meaningful projects that contribute to CSL's promise to save lives and protect the health of people around the world. In addition to making an impact, students will develop personally and professionally while cultivating meaningful relationships.

Main Responsibilities

The role is located in Holly Springs, NC. Main responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Execution of own tasks/projects: After an induction period, the Intern takes on his or her own tasks/projects and executes them independently (with support of subject matter experts).
• Acquiring a foundational understanding of the department: By working in the business function, the Intern acquires a foundational understanding of the organization, processes and procedures in their function and the company. Understanding of the most important aspects and challenges as well as relevant interfaces and stakeholders.
• General support to enable learning and development within the role and function for future application
• Support of and attendance in Intern group specific development and engagement activities (e.g. presentations, projects, events, etc.)
• Interns will be paired with experienced Process Engineers for professional and technical mentorship.

Qualifications:

• Seeking rising juniors and seniors, currently enrolled as a full-time student, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Science, Biomanufacturing or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of a 4.0 scale)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)
• Passion for engineering, process, equipment and the DMAIC process
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work well with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrates flexibility and acceptance of assignments and schedules
