This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Military Rank: Enlisted/Warrant Officer Compatible Military Assignments: ENL: CMF 91, 92, 94 MOS: 88M National Guard Membership is required. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. Must have a valid state driver's license. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Medical screening will be completed upon selection for hire. Soldiers who accept a technician position may be terminated from the Bonus and Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP). Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Qualifications *Your resume must reflect in detail how the duties and responsibilities under each position you have held with each employer meets the below listed general and specialized experience required for the position. **Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week in order to determine part time vs. full time credit. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. Specialized Experience GS7: 1-year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least GS-1152-5? (Must submit SF 50 to validate claim) or Have experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds. Experience with a general knowledge of the functions and procedures of production control, records, references, and techniques for developing production control data. Experience assisting or maintaining workflow. Specialized Experience GS 09: Have 1-year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least GS-1152-7 OR Have experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. Education Not applicable for this position.
