Epileptologist - Mercy Health - Toledo, OH

Mercy Health northern market based in Toledo, OH seeks  an Epileptologist.   

Job Description:

This position consists of 4 components: 

• Building an  outpatient (ambulatory) practice including incorporating virtual visits and open to extending ambulatory access in Oregon and St. Vincent locations.  As the program grows there may be additional OP access sites that require physician flexibility. 
• Providing inpatient rounding service/call as part of an equitable rotation with partners.  There are 2 rounding services - St. Vincent Hospital (level 1 trauma center) and a metro service (includes 3 small community hospitals within 10 miles apart - St. Charles, St. Anne, & Perrysburg Hospitals).
• EEG reading service for St. Vincent hospital - will share this service equitably with partner epileptologist.
• Resident Teaching and Clinics - Includes providing didactics, 1/week resident clinic and teaching during rounding services, journal clubs and providing a minimum of 1/yr grand rounds presentation.
• Optional but available:  research support
