Summary About the position: This position is located at 6th Force Support Squadron Community Services Flight. Arts & Crafts Center MacDill AFB, FL. Ability to frequently lift, handle, and carry parts and equipment weighing up to 18 kilograms (40 pounds). Occasionally, move moderately heavy items with assistance or with mechanical devices, including objects weighing up to or over 23 kilograms (50 pounds) Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Ability to lead three or more workers to accomplish tools and parts attendant duties. Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of a wide variety of automotive tools and parts; good workshop practices to include setting up and maintaining a neat, well organized, and secure storage area; inventory procedures and records maintenance. In addition, must have experience working with patrons providing quality customer service. Must be able to follow written and/or oral instruction, make simple mathematical computations and be able to follow cash handling procedures. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
