Summary
About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
Must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance.
Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required approximately 20 percent of the time.
This is a Drug Testing Designated Position. This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the Drug Abuse Testing Program) and
must pass urinalysis testing, as required, prior to appointment, reassignment or transfer and periodically thereafter.
Must be able to obtain and maintain financial management certificate.
This position may require a one year supervisory probation periods.

This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
In order to qualify, you must meet the Experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe One Year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1. Advises the Director G-8, Principal staff and the command group on resource planning and programming policies and procedures to optimize the use of resources in accomplishing the command's mission with regards to annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development or budget formulation for an organization. 2. Manages mid- and long-term studies/projects pertaining to resource management practices and operational plans for the command. 3. Coordinates the workload for the division (i.e. assign work, sets goals, advises, instructs supervisors/leads, arranges trainings, resolves complaints, and develops performance standards). Providing guidance on resource planning policies and requirements. 4. Represents Division concerning resource planning and programming at TRADOC and other army forums for the command.
