In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions located here
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-4 in the Federal Service. Specialized experiences is possessing the ability to implement and administer the SAP Information Security Program; Serves as a Security Professional for the testing, fielding and protection of advanced and Special Access Program resources and technologies, as-well-as implementing and administering the Personnel Security Program. Establishes local procedures for processing access requests for military, civilian and contractor personnel.
Desired Skills:
2 years of Special Access Program experience desired.
2years of Special Access Program Personnel Security experience desired.
2 years of Special Access Program Physical Security experience desired with a concentration in ICD 705 Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) construction.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of information, industrial, physical and personnel security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement security programs in these areas.
Knowledge of Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security procedures.
Skill in developing, analyzing and evaluating SAP security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the organization.
