Club Operations Assistant

Summary This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department, Club Branch, Naval Air Station, Kingsville, Texas. The purpose of this position is to assist the respective Manager/Assistant Manager in the daily operation of the activity. May be required to do lifting, stooping, bending, walking, standing and sitting in performance of duties. May be exposed to dim light, smoke, loud music, and slippery floors during course of shift. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Thorough knowledge of and/or training in club operations. Possesses a sharp people oriented personality to include tact and diplomacy in dealing and communicating with other people. Must have the ability to influence others in obtaining cooperation and assistance. Must have at least one year of related experience. Knowledge of basic accounting, cash handling procedures and basic computer knowledge required. Must present a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
