Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
Must pass all applicable records and background check.
Must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
A valid state driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National.
Qualifications
Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Must possess or obtain and maintain (within 6 months of employment) a Security + or higher certification, in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Technical, Level II technicians.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of professional hands-on systems and network experience in the administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft platforms (Windows 7, 8, and 10) Microsoft Office Suite applications and PC-class hardware systems.
Must have professional experience in analyzing, planning, testing, modifying, engineering, and implementing new software, hardware, and network solutions.
Must be able to meet all applicable government requirements, including appropriate background investigations, for access to and administration of government information systems.
Must be able to manage the day-to-day administrative duties associated with a busy information technology office.
Must be able to lift, move and install hardware and other IT equipment items and devices.
Education
An associate degree or bachelor's degrees from an accredited college or university in the field of computer science are desirable. (MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF COMPLETION)
Additional information
Salary is dependent on experience and/or education. Some positions have special requirements.
Selectee may be required to complete a one (1) year probationary period. Participation in Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer within the first 30 days of employment is required. We utilize E-Verify to confirm selectee's eligibility to work in the United States.
This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies within 60 days of issuance of selection certificate. For positions requiring travel more than twice per year, selectee may be required to obtain and maintain in good standing a Government-issued Travel Card for official government travel purposes.
