INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as an GG/GS-13 Intelligence Specialist at providing technical advice on a wide range of complex analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information and/or products relative to an assigned area(s) on narcotics/counter-narcotics, illicit trafficking transnational organized crime and drug trafficking organizations. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties such as: performing the following duties such as: 1) Collecting, analyzing and interpreting complex data from multiple sources to assess the significance, patterns, tactics, and trends directly related to narcotics, illicit maritime trafficking, and drug trafficking organizations 2) Providing tailored maritime intelligence, including illicit containerized cargo detection, monitoring, and targeting support to non-traditional customers including federal law enforcement, DoD counter drug forces, foreign military, and law enforcement agencies 3) Planning, implementing and maintaining databases for intelligence assignments required to process all-source material and the production of technical or operational intelligence in his/her assigned area(s) 4) Maintaining liaison with personnel in other intelligence agencies, law enforcement organizations, laboratories, services, and allied foreign governments to discuss production requirements andprovideinformation 5) Representing agency or organization positions at interagency and/or international meetings and conferences.
