Summary

This position is located in the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), Division of Planning and Support. The mission of OFCCP is to enforce, for the benefit of job seekers and wage earners, the contractual promise of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity required of those who do business with the Federal Government.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

GS-12: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience is experience that equips the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Examples of qualifying specialized experience are:

  • Researching and interpreting personnel regulations, policies, and procedures and providing expert guidance or support with Human Resource activities (i.e., processing of personnel actions, workforce recruitment, separations, transfers, details, realignment, and/or reassignments, time and leave administration);
  • Preparing or assisting with creating financial system commitments, obligations, expenses, reconciliations, and/or reports;
  • Supporting the evaluation of productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency to identify and address operational issues and optimize the use of program resources.
