Job Description
- Maintain up–to–date policies and procedures for the 340B program.
- Develop, execute, and document monthly audits of the 340B Program (including but not limited to provider administered, entity–owned retail pharmacy, contract pharmacy, and Medicaid claims)
- Review current practices and assess opportunities for cost savings and system improvements while maintaining and/or improving 340B Program compliance.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy supply chain team to ensure compliant purchasing practices.
- Develop and foster working relationships with 340B stakeholders (IT, internal audit, finance, third party administrators, wholesalers, contract pharmacy, supply chain, pharmacy staff, etc.)
- Develop a thorough understanding of the split–billing/third party administrator systems.
- Ensure data integrity is maintained for applicable applications (third party administrators, wholesalers, UVA pharmacy data warehouse, etc.)
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Finance, IT or related field, or equivalent experience in 340B
Experience: 3 years relevant experience performing data analysis, extraction and systems interface, or 3 years relevant experience in pharmacy data analysis.
Licensure: None required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
