Job Description

TeamHealth is hiring for a nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to do primary care rounding in skilled nursing facilities in the Lynnwood/Edmonds, Washington, area on an as-needed (PRN) basis. You will have the flexibility to work when you are availability and the ability to set up your preferred start time. As an advanced practice provider (APP) in the skilled nursing facility setting your will experience:A Diverse Patient Population: Skilled nursing facilities provide clinicians with the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or in need of rehabilitation. This variety can offer valuable experience in treating a range of medical conditions.An Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Working in a skilled nursing facility allows clinicians to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. This collaborative environment can enhance patient care by incorporating different perspectives and expertise.Long-Term Relationships: Clinicians in skilled nursing facilities have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients and their families.
