This position is located at Business Operation Division, FMWR, US Army Garrison Yongsan-Casey APO AP 96205-5333

This position is normally designated for LN occupancy. Selected applicant will have no rights under reduction in force and will be subject to displacement under a local national reduction in force.

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
Work is usually performed indoors in areas that have adequate light and ventilation.
Exposed to hot liquids, sharp cutting blades, and hot working surfaces, an extreme temperature changes when entering walk-in refrigerators or freezing units.
Light to heavy physical effort is required. Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 40 pounds. Subject to continuous standing, walking and frequent stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending.
Employee is required to wear any personal protective equipment as applicable to their duties.
There is a danger of falling from a ladder or slipping on a floor where food or beverages have spilled.
This position has a rotating work schedule which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a medical examination.
Qualifications
Ability to understand and follow simple instructions, and be able to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines. Experience or training that indicates sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position consistent with acceptable practices of the trade including but not limited to:
1. Must have skill and knowledge to perform tasks involving several procedures and be able to concentrate on work assignments despite interruptions and distractions.
2. A working knowledge of sanitation standards is required as well as knowledge of procedure to prevent contamination.
3. Must know basic food handling techniques, personal hygiene standards and safe work procedures.
4. Must have the ability to read and understand written material.
5. Must have knowledge of basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals, such as counting the number of tables in order to determine the number of portions or meals required, or how many servings a particular container will yield.

PCS Costs
Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
FWS Allowances and Differentials
This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Foreign Overseas Allowances
Foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
