NES Health seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice at Day Kimball Hospital located in Putnam, Connecticut.    About the Hospital  39 Bed Community Hospital   Part of Covenant Health  Inteleviewer EMR    Coverage includes:?  Radiology and Teleradiology at night?  Interventional Radiology (during the day)?  Stroke Center (send out TPA and thrombectomy candidates)?  Anesthesiology (during the day)?  Ultrasound (during the day)?  OB/Gyn??  Hospitalist?  ENT?  Cardiology?  Neurology (tele-neurology)?  ICU (2 beds)  Psychology (6 beds)    About the Program and Hours  25 Bed ED  24,000 annual ED visits   20% admission rate from the ED  12 hour Physician shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a)  12 hour APP shifts (11a-11p)    Qualifications  Active Connecticut license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license  Candidate Must be PA or FNP BE/BC   Active ATLS, ACLS, and PALS    About the Community   This charming New England town is conveniently located between New York and Boston on the banks of the Quinebaug River. ?Putnam has the honor of?having been voted as one of “15 Best Small Towns to Visit in New England” by Boston Magazine.
