Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Polar Bowl on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. This position is also Flexible, meaning you are guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Your schedule will depend on needs of the facility. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. The incumbent must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Typing skills and basic bookkeeping/accounting skills desired. Must have knowledge and experience with bowling league organization, i.e., skill and knowledge to assist league secretaries in setting up leagues and in running bowling tournaments. Experience which demonstrated ability to operate a cash register, control panel, public address (PA) system and adding machine. Must be at least 21 years old in order to sell alcohol. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
