Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Eglin Lodging Facilities. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 96th Force Support Squadron at Eglin AFB Florida. Position is Regular Part-time (RPT) guaranteed 20-34 hours per week and schedule tour of duty may include nights, weekends and holidays. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. Must be able to complete a pre-employment physical and have or be able to obtain a valid motor vehicle operator license. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. Qualifying Experience: Must have previous experience in the maintenance and repair tasks involved in the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and related structures, fixtures and utilities. Must be to use common carpentry and plumbing hand/powered tools. Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions. Must be physically able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally push or pull objects weighing up to I 00 pounds. Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, reach, climb, stand, and work in awkwardpositions. Must be able to complete a pre-employment physical and have or be able to obtain a valid motor vehicle operatorlicense. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
