Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Sustainment Flight- Lodging. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls. Frequent handling of objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and one every three years thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident. The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles. To be considered for this position, the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or a Legal U.S. Resident for a minimum of 3 years and must reside in/around the area as noted in the Job Opportunity Announcement. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience: Must have skill in maneuvering and driving vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds. Must have knowledge of defensive driving techniques and regulations. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to load and arrange cargo. Must be physically able to frequently handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls. Pre-Employment Task Requirement: Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). "This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use."
