Summary This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Malmstrom Inn & Suites. This position is considered flexible. You are guaranteed 0 hours, however could work up to 40 hours per week. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible to earn leave or other NAF benefits. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This incumbent must possess a valid state driver's license and requires a good driving record. This position requires to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. This is a drug testing designated position, Incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. This position requires uncommon tour of duty, which may require nights, weekends and holidays. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicants are preferred to have progressive work experience in general maintenance and servicing of facilities, utilities, and equipment. Must be able to read, write, & speak English and communicate effectively. Must be able to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Requires frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching and kneeling. Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to work uncommon tour of duty. Requires a valid state driver's license. Successful completion of a Tier 1 background check is required. THIS IS A DRUG TESTING DESGINATED POSITION. Incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position DOES NOT allow for education substitution. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
