Motor Vehicle Operator (Delivery Driver)

Summary This position is located within the Morale, Welfare & Recreation Club Alliance, Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. The incumbent picks up food orders from Club Alliance kitchen to be delivered to various locations on base. Requirements Conditions of Employment Position requires the incumbent to possess a valid Driver’s License to drive up to 3500 Kg /10 passenger vehicle The incumbent may work in inclement weather. This position is subject to the possibility of work on weekends and holidays. Qualifications Must be able to read and understand English. Must be able to read a map. Must possess good customer service skills Driver must be able to drive a van and electric vehicle. Must be quick and accurate. Must be able to follow all traffic rules and maintain good base driving record. Must be able to drive during inclement weather conditions to include rain and snow. Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision, and the ability to interpret instructions and specifications .
