Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities. Work is usually performed indoors in areas that have adequate light and ventilation. Exposed to hot liquids, sharp cutting blades, and hot working surfaces, and extreme temperature changes when entering walk-in refrigerators or freezing units. There is a danger of slipping on floors where food or beverages have been dropped. Light to moderate physical effort is required. Lifts and moves items weighing up to 20 pounds. Subject to continuous standing and walking, and frequent stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending. Qualifications Ability to understand and follow oral instructions and do simple tasks that are easy to learn. Experience must be listed on your resume to receive consideration. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Foreign Overseas Allowances Foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
