Custodial Worker Leader (Lead Housekeeper)

Summary About the position: Roadrunner Inn Kirtland AFB, NM. This position will be filled as a Regular Part-Time employment category. Regular Part-Time is guaranteed 20 hours/week and may be eligible for benefits such as Group Medical/Dental, Group Life, 401(k), and AFNAF Retirement. Schedule flexibility of selected individual(s) is highly desired - no set schedule for this position may include weekends, holidays and rotate often. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 (T1) background investigation. This position requires the incumbent to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. This position requires the incumbent to follow oral and/or written instructions and speak English. This position requires the incumbent to be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and ability to continuously stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time. Qualifying Experience: Ability to lead 3 or more custodial workers to accomplish housekeeping assignments. Must have functional experience and demonstrated knowledge of facility/equipment in housekeeping and the ability to build teams and work with others. Must have experience in the proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Must be able to clean and make adjustments to powered cleaning equipment. Must be able to perform the full range of cleaning duties. Must be able to plan, coordinate, and time sequence steps needed to meet time constraints of work assignments. Experience and knowledge must have been gained either in a military lodging program or commercial hotel/motel. Must be able to follow oral or written instructions and speak English. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
