Descriptioneducational, safety, and other related criteria appropriate population in his/her assigned area• Maintains required core competencies. • Complies with set Policies and Procedures (i.e. name tag, dress code, parking, smoking, etc.) • Maintains BLS, ACLS and PALS classification.• Serves on selected committees as needed for the process of establishing policy and procedures to reflect current standards of care.• Assists in the planning, development, and maintenance of a Nursing Services Orientation and Competency Program.• Participates in presentation of the Operating Room Nursing orientation program, including PERIOP 101 etc.• Makes self-available to nursing staff when on duty.• Provides feedback to departmental managers on individual staff member’s performance as requested and available. If individual needs of staff member identified, documents and refers in timely manner to department manager.• Participates in the organization’s CEARP accreditation.• Attends education related meetings.• Uses sick time appropriately.• Participates in community health fair and education.• Participates in the education committee and attends meeting quarterly.• Incorporates the roles of
