Summary This position is located at Fort Leonard Wood Pools. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Incumbent must be willing and able to work in continuous exposure to sun and prolonged periods of high temperature and humidity. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2 to include a medical examination and Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for access to federally controlled facilities. Incumbent must have current health assessment which documents good physical health, and free from communicable disease IAW current Army Policy. Incumbent must be willing and able to work irregular duties or when needed for special recreational events and related requirements. Work hours may involve weekend, weekdays, holidays and night duty. Incumbent is required to follow environmental safeguards and wear personal protective equipment. Incumbent must be willing and able to obtain the Hepatitis B vaccination series within a 24-hour period in case of exposure to infectious disease. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Possesses and maintains the following certifications: Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS). American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional. CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED or equivalent (American Heart Association CPR/AED). **You will be rated based solely off of the information provided within your resume, please ensure you are clear and specific. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
