Practical Nurse Pain Procedure

Summary The Pain Clinic Practical Nurse promotes quality health care, positive customer service and the maintenance of an environment committed to serving veterans. Supports the veterans performing EKG's, vital signs including orthostatic blood pressure monitoring, phlebotomy, proper labeling of specimen, and specific patient education. Responsible for point of care glucose testing, timely/safe patient transport, RME, completing encounters, and maintaining infection control surveillance standards.
