Supervisory Supply Technician (Logistics Supervisor)

Summary About the position: Assigned to the Roadrunner Inn, Kirtland AFB, NM. Position will be filled as Regular Full-Time employment category (guaranteed 35 hrs/week). May be eligible for benefits such as Group Medical/Dental, Group Life, 401(k), and AFNAF Retirement. Schedule flexibility highly desired; may include weekends, holidays, and rotate often. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 (T1) background investigation with a favorable determination. This position requires incumbent to the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination. This position requires the incumbent to have a valid, current state driver's license, and maintain a valid state driver's license. This is a drug testing designated position. Qualifying Experience: Must have functional experience and demonstrated a mastery of supply work, which includes knowledge of rules, regulations, procedures, and programs of the local supply organization and the organizations serviced. Knowledge of supply inventory and accountability procedures and regulations. Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve supply problems and/or deviations from normal supply management procedures or program requirements. Ability and knowledge to perform a range of standard clerical assignments and to resolve recurring problems. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing. Self-starter and highly motivated individuals desired for position Schedule flexibility highly desired; may include weekends, holidays, and rotate often. Ability to work in different weather climates, bending, stooping, climbing up and down stairs frequently in a group or alone desired. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
