Summary This position is located at Schofield Barracks Arts and Crafts Center, in Schofield Barracks, HI (Island of Oahu). Incumbent will be assisting customers in ceramic and fine arts area with conducting classes, issuing equipment, and instructing customers and assisting with special events. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Must be able to work irregular schedule, occasionally to attend special events (may include nights and weekends). Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 1. Work experience which involved dealing with the general public. **Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above.** Highly Preferred Qualifications: 1. Must possess at least 3 years experience in conducting youth art classes for ages: 3-12 years. . 2. Must possess the ability to plan progressive basic instruction and application of skills in multimedia arts program. **To be evaluated as a highly preferred candidate, your resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications AND highly preferred criteria above.** Applicants who meet both minimum qualifications and highly preferred criteria will be sent to the hiring manager first. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
