Summary
This position is assigned to Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), Fleet and Family Readiness Department (N9), Family Readiness Division (N91), Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP). Incumbent serves as the Fleet and Family Support Center Work and Family Life Supervisor for Naval Air Station Oceana

Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
This position requires incumbents to obtain and maintain an official passport.
This position may require the incumbent to work overtime, including weekends or evenings, to meet work requirements.
Starting May 7, 2025, non-affiliated individuals requesting access will need a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or another acceptable form of identification to access CNRMA Installations. (review required documents section for more information.)
Qualifications
Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs.A qualified candidate possesses the following:
Must have at least four (4) years of specialized experience in managing services for Work and Family Life (WFL) or Quality of Life (QOL) programs with the Department of Defense (DoD).
Comprehensive knowledge of the Navy organization, mission, lifestyle, language, customs, and culture and skill in applying analytical methods and techniques to evaluate the customer base and identify WFL needs, trends and performance measures to evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations for process improvements.
In-depth knowledge of Family Readiness and its mission and programs and practical knowledge of education and training delivery methods, practices, processes, and techniques to collaborate with staff on implementing QOL and WFL trainings and workshops.
Practical knowledge of and skill in applying professional verbal and written communication methods and techniques to network and collaborate with diverse groups, organizations, military services, and civilian agencies; deliver WFL evidence-based training/education to various audiences; compose clear, concise, and effective reports and documents; and establish and maintain professional relationships with management, staff, and personnel at multiple echelons.
Skill in conducting client interviews to establish the nature and extent of concerns and issues, to assist with the development of client goals and plans, and to determine appropriate referral services and options to meet client needs.
Skill in using various computer software databases, spreadsheet, and word processing programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to maintain automated files, references, and instructions; distribute information and develop marketing materials.
