The applicant's overall background of experience, education, and training must clearly demonstrate the ability to perform A/C Equipment Mechanic duties without more than normal supervision. Applicants must pass the screen-out question and achieve an overall score of at least fifty percent (50%) or higher on the self-assessment. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
