Summary This position is located at the West Point Club. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Work hours may involve weekday, weekend, holiday and night duty. A Medical Examination is required; subject to continuous standing and walking, frequent stooping, reaching pushing, pulling and bending, lifting /moving items up to 50 pounds. This position is dual compensation exempt; All GS and NAF employees whether full time or part time are eligible to apply for this position. Qualifications 1. Ability to understand and follow oral instructions and do simple tasks that are easy to learn. Skill and Knowledge: Must have knowledge of basic food handling techniques, personal hygiene standards and safe work procedures. Must have the ability to perform routine manual tasks involving few steps, and be able to read and understand written material. Must have knowledge of basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: knowledge, skills, abilities, additional screening criteria and other characteristics. Additional information Note: Candidates with Special Qualifying Skills and Experience may be brought in higher than the Step 1 rate of pay, determined by the Hiring Manager. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
