EVALUATIONS:
Qualifications
Supervisor assigns work orally. Skill to read, write and accomplish accurate mathematical calculations. Skill to load and arrange cargo to prevent shifting, falling, and breakage in vehicle. Knowledge of overall warehousing plan and accepted warehousing methods, procedures, and techniques of material handling. Possess or be able to obtain applicable state and/or government driver¿s license. Skill to overcome practical manufacture problems; evaluate final product and initiate corrective action.
Responsibility: Knowledge of the locations, merchandise and routes. Ability to organize and coordinate merchandise appropriately. Observes all required safety procedures. Maintains documents associated with inventory control. Driving proficiency is assessed in terms of safe and expeditious completion of assigned jobs. Responsible for selecting routes and obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Physical Effort: Works on hard surfaces and in work areas that require standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 pounds with assistance.
Working Conditions: . Work is performed inside or outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lighted. Exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, bruises, abrasions, falls, and injury from falling stock. Work may require protective clothing.
