Summary
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Wrangler Bunkhouse Lodging facility on F.E. Warren AFB, WY.
This position is considered Flexible with a guarantee of 0.00 hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. You may be required to work some nights, weekends and holidays. As a Flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave and benefits.
The starting pay for this position is set by Federal pay setting regulations at $21.91 per hour.

This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
This position has physical lifting requirement which requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical.
This position has been identified as a drug Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent of this position will be subject to and must consent to a pre-employment and random drug testing.
The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have prior experience in preventive maintenance repair.
Must have ability to use and maintain light weight hand or powered tools and equipment.
Must be capable of operating a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
Able to work in a courteous and cooperative manner with fellow employees and guests.
Ability to work safely and use good judgment with equipment and tools.
Successful completion of technical or vocational training in carpentry, plumbing, and electricity is desirable.
Able to complete maintenance tasks timely and accurately.
Personal computer experience is desirable.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.

A probationary period may be required.
Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD).
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
