The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC Children’s
Hospital are recruiting a recruiting for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate
Professor outside the tenure stream in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in Pittsburgh,
PA. The candidate must have completed a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship program and be Board
Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Must have an MD or equivalent with the ability
to obtain an unrestricted PA license. H1B visa sponsorship available. Opportunity DetailsJoin a
Division with38 pediatric emergency medicine faculty, 3 general pediatrician faculty as well as
thirty advanced practice providersYou will join an outstanding pediatric emergency medicine
fellowship training program, including nine fellowsSchedule is 13 shifts per monthRotating shift
schedule to days, nights and weekendsClinical academic appointment 80% clinical and 20%
teaching/administrativeFaculty responsibilities include patient care, house staff and student
education, and academic pursuits. Division faculty teach pediatric emergency medicine fellows,
pediatric residents from UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, emergency medicine residents from
the University of Pittsburgh Department of Emergency Medicine, and visiting residents from area
