Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing leadership and oversight for budgeting or financial management activities to ensure the effective use of financial resources in support of an organization's mission. Additional information This position is part of the Department of Defense Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo), which is an alternate personnel system. The NH-04 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14/15.
