Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must have Bachelor degree or 3 years' experience in any sports-related field, OR, one year experience in sports coordination or sports program management, OR, a combination of education and experience that the candidate can demonstrate the ability to perform the duties in this PD.
2. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include weekends, holidays and night time.
3. Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
4. Must be able to obtain and maintain a health card.
5. A valid Government Owned Vehicle (GOV) operator's permit is required for the performance of duties for this position. Inability to obtain or maintain appropriate GOV licensing may result in termination for lack of qualifications. The incumbent is required to obtain required GOV licenses within 30 days of hire.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Experience and knowledge of the needs and methods necessary in organizing and conducting a military sports program.
2. Knowledge in the various environmental, safety, hygiene, and health considerations relevant to an athletic program.
3. Skills in effectively organizing and utilizing the available resources within the program framework.
4. Skills in dealing with cross cultural differences and multi-lingual persons in the work force.
5. Ability and skills to lead and supervise sports events as well as staff working for the events.
