The patient population spans from adolescence through geriatric care, and providers emphasize the importance of women’s health through all life stages

The hospital is recognized for providing an optimal environment for the promotion, protection, and support of breastfeeding. In conjunction with the Birthing Center, this practice offers a variety of prenatal education classes and lactation consultant services for patients. The hospital is a four-time Magnet hospital, the gold standard for nursing excellence. 24/7 Maternal Fetal Medicine consultative/support/transfer services. Our community hospital does approximately 450 births per year and is a part of Rhode Island's first and largest healthcare system, which is affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
