Taktile exists to create value for organizations through smarter and safer decisions at scale. Our goal is to become the world's leading software provider for automated decision-making in the financial services industry and to date our software has been used by our customers to power over 255’000 critical business decisions every day.

Taktile is based in Berlin and New York City.

Taktile was founded by machine learning and data science veterans with extensive experience building and running production ML in financial services.

Our team consists of engineers entrepreneurs and researchers with a diverse set of backgrounds. Some of us attended top universities such as Harvard Oxford and Stanford and some of us have no degree at all.

Our team has accumulated extensive work experience at leading tech companies such as Google Amazon and Meta startups and the enterprise software sphere

Our backers include Y Combinator Index Ventures and stellar angels such as the founders of Looker GitHub Mulesoft Datadog and UiPath.

We’re backed by some of the world’s leading investors and show great traction with scale-ups and large enterprises across the financial services and insurance industry. We are looking to build on this success by growing our sales team professionalizing our go-to-market and acquiring more customers.

That’s where you come in.

As an Account Executive at Taktile you’ll be critical to:

Building a strong Sales pipeline - the lifeblood of our business - and growing our customer base

Representing Taktile as a credible brand ambassador in the market

Leading customers through their buying journey effectively

Helping lay the foundations of our newly-formed Sales team

About You:

You know how to build strong customer relationships with senior customer stakeholders

You’re curious and customer-centric. You enjoy learning about prospects' businesses and helping them solve challenges

You’re humble and have a growth mindset with a willingness to learn and implement new skills and methodologies and bring best practices into our business

You’re collaborative and work well with your peers in Marketing BDR and Customer Success

You are creative and proactive - you’re always looking for ways to stand out with prospects and to improve the buying experience.

You have excellent written and spoken English skills and an exceptional feel for language and messaging

You have experience selling SaaS/software subscriptions to Financial Services and/or start-up and scale-up businesses

You have managed deal cycles of 3-6 months or more and of USD 100k in value

You have strong prospecting skills - and a willingness to use them

You’ve met or exceeded your sales targets for 2+ years

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Sell Taktile’s innovative decisioning software solution to target customers and prospects in Financial Services (startup and scaleup) to meet or exceed your revenue targets

Develop a deep understanding of our target markets ideal customer profile(s) (industry account and personas) and value proposition as well as competitive positioning

Manage a pipeline of high-velocity multi-stakeholder sales opportunities from lead to close selling annual subscription contracts

Source quality outbound sales pipeline from target accounts through prospecting

Qualify and manage new opportunities generated by BDRs and Marketing

Provide a fantastic buying experience for our customers.

Seamlessly hand over new customers to Customer Success and forward-deployed teams

Upsell existing accounts to generate add-on revenue

Leverage best-practice sales methodologies such as MEDDICC and Challenger

Use CRM and other sales tools such as HubSpot LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc.

Report to Sales Director in weekly forecast meetings and 1:1s

Provide feedback from the market to Product Marketing Business Development and Taktile leadership to inform our product roadmap target profiles and go-to-market strategies

IDEAL BUT NOT REQUIRED

Experience working in an early-stage start-up (Seed - Series B)

Experience and strong interest in FinTech data and ML/AI
