As a result, Buildout has become the not-so-secret weapon for more than 40,0000 CRE brokers and 50,000 investors. Ultimately, we exist to serve the entire CRE industry and because of that unwavering focus, all the best brokers use Buildout.Â
The Opportunity
As a member of the team, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for your customers post-graduation, ensuring that we are consistently delivering on their expectations and that they are seeing success with their Buildout package. As a quota-carrying Account Manager, you’ll own the account management and success for mid-market accounts, renewing and expanding your book of business. At times, you’ll triage customer issues and escalations, threading the needle between over-investing in the squeaky wheel and supporting customers to get the best use of our tools. You should be driven to help customers and have the curiosity to dive deep into an ever-changing product to learn it inside and out. Providing a Buildout Quality customer experience requires patience, empathy, and a growth mindset.Â
How You’ll Contribute at Buildout
- Own and manage revenue for your assigned customers, including all renewals, expansion, and upsell
- Leveraging your customers’ goals, develop robust success plans for each account, running playbooks, identifying useful features and products, and offering training to improve adoption
- Regularly monitor and analyze customer health and interactions, identifying downsell and churn triggers and opportunities for upsell, and taking action
- Support the sale of customization by identifying opportunity and working closely with the Implementation team to ensure a smooth experience
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Support, Implementation, Finance, and Product, on behalf of your customer in order to resolve issues and coordinate their various requests
- Relay customer feedback to Product teams and other stakeholders
- Partner with the Manager of Customer Success to create strategic playbooks (email and call campaigns, in-app experience) and develop and execute webinars for existing customers to support product adoption
- Identify and collaborate with your team on process improvement, leading the team in testing out new things when something isn’t working
- Manage and complete workflows in Churnzero daily at scale
What You’ll Bring to Buildout Â
- 4+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales, account management, or customer success/service environment, B2B SaaS experience preferred
- Experience managing customer relationships, renewals, and growing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling
- A track record of meeting and exceeding high-volume metrics and sales goals
- Experience with Salesforce (required) and customer success software like ChurnZero (nice to have)
- A tech whiz who can quickly learn and adopt new systems
- A juggling pro who can comfortably jump between inbound customer requests to demos to strategic renewal conversations, as well as adjust and match tone based on the customer call
- A knack for creating and improving processes and embracing change for the better
- A propensity to make strategic decisions based on data
- A customer-first mindset and passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience
