The Role:
We are seeking a driven and dynamic Account Manager to join our Operations team at Sunbit. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to be part of a rapidly growing tech startup and to contribute to the success of our Co-Branded Card program. As a key member of the Co-Branded Card team, you’ll work closely with our retail partners, helping them maximize card applications and ensure seamless integration of the Co-Branded Card into their operations.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial and self-starting, with a strong background in retail operations and a proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships. You’ll take a hands-on approach, working directly with our partners’ point-of-sale (POS) teams to drive growth and foster success.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead training sessions for new retail partners, ensuring successful program implementation
- Manage existing retail accounts to achieve growth targets and KPIs
- Oversee the launch of pilot programs, from inception to full rollout
- Actively expand the Co-Branded Card program beyond pilots to wider implementation
- Regularly visit partner locations to review and improve Sunbit’s performance at the POS
- Collaborate with retail associates and management to set and achieve monthly Sunbit activity goals
- Work closely with cross-functional teams at Sunbit to continuously enhance account performance
- Track and document all account-related activities in the CRM system
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the growth and scalability of the Co-Branded Card program
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table:
- 100% travel in and out of state (Mon-Fri)
- Valid driver's license
- 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably with mid- to large-sized retailers
- Proven experience in training and coaching teams for optimal performance
- Expertise in developing account-level business plans, backed by data analysis and strategic insight
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both verbal and written
- Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
