Office Location: Seven/NEO Building, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Philippines

Work Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Work Setting: Hybrid; 1 to 3 days a week on-site

Positions available: 2 (1 will be assigned to Cash Accounting, and the other one for Intercompany Accounting)

Discover Impactful Work:

Performs basic accounting support and administrative functions. Ensures the posting, filing, and maintenance of transactions to appropriate accounting records

A day in the Life:

Cash Accounting:

  • Completes assigned ledger entries and financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Process transactions on Cash Accounting and month-end closing and maintain sub-ledger modules according to set guideline
  • Perform daily and monthly Bank Reconciliation
  • Completes recording of daily cash activities
  • Ensures accuracy and compliance with all accounting regulations.
  • Prepare reconciliations and report
  • Answer Audit queries
  • Complete ADHOC assignments delegated by management

Intercompany Accounting:

  • Completes assigned ledger entries and financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Process transactions on Intercompany and month-end closing and maintain sub-ledger modules according to set guideline
  • Ensures accuracy and compliance with all accounting regulations.
  • Prepare reconciliations and report
  • Answer Audit queries
  • Complete ADHOC assignments delegated by management

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or any related courses

Experience

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 1 year).

In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of mathematic functions
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Good interpersonal and time management skills
  • Confidence to handle critical information and data effectively
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results and special attention to detail.
  • Firm written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and outside vendors

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • May interact with others, relating and capturing critical information. Interaction includes diverse groups.
  • Works with guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions from management. May require periods of driven concentration.
  • Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multi-task.
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
