Job Summary

NOV is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team in the greater Houston area for the summer of 2023 (flexible start and end dates). This summer internship will provide valuable, real-world experience to students pursuing a university degree in business with a focus in accounting. The intern will gain exposure to various functions within accounting, such as SOX internal controls and general ledger accounting, and participate in projects to support the business.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 hours of accounting courses completed
• Display a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience with computers and MS Office, including proficiency with Excel
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to work collaboratively in both a team atmosphere and independently
• Ability to interact with varying levels of individuals
