Accounting Specialist

As an Accounting Specialist with Convera based in our Vilnius office, you will perform daily tasks according to pre-established guidelines to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions. 

You will be responsible for: 

• Preparation of financial reports (Safeguard).
• Performing general ledger entries (reclasses, accruals).
• Performing data collection and analysis in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyzing accounts and specialized reports, investigating discrepancies and providing decision-making insights.
• Analyze financial data and make recommendations to accounting issues & controls
• Participate in process improvement projects ensuring effective accounting operations and compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations
 
You should apply if you have:

• Analytical skills
• Good spoken and written English abilities
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting
• Familiarity with the accounting standards and a degree in Business Management/ Finance / Accounting or a related
• You must also be comfortable with Microsoft Excel and have a good level of English language.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others.
