Accounts Receivable Lead

The Role: 

The Accounts Receivable Lead will oversee all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function, including invoicing, cash application, and the research/resolution of customer inquiries relating to billing. You will supervise one (1) Billing Representative, manage and improve collections and A/R aging function with an eye for reducing delinquencies and creating scalable operational processes and practices. You will assist with weekly, monthly and quarterly close activities, including invoice completeness checks, unbilled orders reviews, cash application reviews, and cash/AR reconciliations. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting, you will partner closely with Order to Cash, Deal Desk, customer operations and legal to ensure any exceptions to finance policies and procedures are appropriately approved and documented. Additionally, you will liaise with Customer Success and Sales teams to follow up on past due accounts and drive the collections process.

Why you're a great fit:

• You have 5+ years of progressive experience in A/R, Billing, and Collections 
• You have experience with building and maintaining key metrics and dashboards for weekly reporting to management
• You have a demonstrated ability to partner cross functionality, organize and project manage complex processes, and deliver on executive asks
• You are able to leverage your self-starter skills to ensure invoicing and collections concern escalation are performed in a timely manner, to effectively achieve billing and collection targets
