Job Description
Ally is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist who is willing to go the extra mile to service our accounts! The role includes a variety of duties including cash application, contacting customers for payment resolution, revising and sending invoices, and managing/monitoring delinquent accounts. The right individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be confident in their ability to handle escalated situations collaboratively with the Finance team!

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify issues contributing to the delinquency of an account
- Review data and compile into Excel spreadsheets
- Revising and sending invoices
- Contacting customers via phone or email for payment resolutionÂ
- Ensure all clients remain informed of their outstanding debts and deadlines
- Match payments to corresponding invoices and apply correctly
- Generate monthly and quarterly aging reports

QUALIFICATIONS:
A successful candidate must possess the following traits/skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Two years experience in a related field, or customer-facing environment
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of basic Excel tasks
- Alignment with Ally’s #HUSTLE values
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A highly confident, yet humble, personality
- Must thrive in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
- Must be a problem-solver, seeking to find solutions before problems even arise
