Job Description
Overview
Bradshaw Home is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead our Collections and DMS teams. This role plays a critical part in overseeing Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring accurate deduction management, monitoring customer payment trends, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and experience working with major retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly supervise, coach, and mentor the A/R team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee deduction claims, rebills, and payment terms compliance while managing workloads effectively.
- Monitor customer payment behaviors, identifying risks such as cash flow issues or increasing deductions, and escalate concerns with an action plan.
- Manage customer communications and dispute resolution, maintaining strong relationships to optimize collections.
- Review and reconcile A/R balances, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented and aligned with month-end and fiscal year-end processes.
- Secure approvals and oversee order release processes for customers at credit limits, CIA accounts, and credit card customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements, including compiling requested reports and supporting year-end audits.
- Drive continuous process improvements, optimize workflows, and recommend strategies for enhanced efficiency.

Qualifications & Core Skills
- BS/BA in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
- 4+ years of A/R management or supervisor experience, ideally within the "big box" retail sector and dealing with large retailers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (vlookups, pivot tables); experience with NetSuite and High Radius highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with persuasive communication, leadership, and process improvement capabilities.
- Experience with supply chain operations is a plus.
