ROLE SUMMARY:

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor, Cash Apps is responsible for the effective management of the customer payment application function to ensure Company policies, guidelines and strategies are followed. This is a newly created, hands-on role within a high performing team. The ideal candidate will have outstanding organization skills, functions well in a fast-paced environment, and is a pro-active self-starter who will take ownership of their duties. Having the ability to drive automation, directly implement change, and solve problems will be important in this role. Supervisory responsibilities include developing and improving metrics for departmental performance, training (policies, procedures, compliance and skills), coaching, monitoring, counseling and motivating employees to ensure success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Customer Accounts Receivable Collections - monitor customer invoices to ensure collection within payment terms
• Work with internal stakeholders and customers to document invoice payment status and escalate if invoices will not be paid by the due date
• Manage staff and workload of AR Specialist
• Assist staff and stakeholders in resolving questions associated with open invoices
• Monitor unapplied customer payments and ensure application against paid invoices
• Ensure internal/external audit and SOX compliance
• Prepare reporting and analysis to maximize cashflow
• Understanding of Billed and Unbilled, Accounting Reserves and Bad Debt write-offs
• Balance sheet analysis for Billed and Unbilled AR accounts
• Interpret bank statements and understand adjustments, credits, interest payment, discounts, EDI detail
• Creative in streamlining and implementing AR process improvements

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years in a similar position
• 2+ years in a supervisor/managerial position
• Associates/Bachelor's or equivalent experience
• Prior supervisory experience is required
• Intermediate excel skills
• Prior experience working on automated billing system
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task

POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time exempt position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a hybrid position, working in our HQ office located in Marina Del Rey Tuesday-Thursday every other week.

SALARY:
$80,000-$95,000 + Bonus
